Inspired by Love

NEW DOUBLE ALBUM

DANIEL LEVY
INSPIRED BY LOVE

A collection of inspired music, like fragrant flowers gathered together by the golden thread of Love.”

Daniel Levy explores the fascinating universe of musical inspiration, revealing numerous confessions and thoughts of the great composers regarding the moment of creation, and interprets at the piano the works arising from this source of beauty. An essential living experience for all classical music lovers: the rediscovery and appreciation of musical inspiration.

The selection of works, performed by the pianist Daniel Levy, follows the guiding thread of inspiration that unites the great composers — a thread which, like a diamond, reflects the many facets of — human, divine, and mythical — each born of a single, profound source of feeling that stirs the deepest strings of the listener’s soul. An experience of beauty, music, and profound emotion.

The magic that lives behind, within, and between the notes — transmitted by these inspired composers.

LISTEN TO SAMPLES

“I love Music passionately, and these pieces — inspired by the many facets of Love — seem to have come together over time of their own accord, as if drawn by an inner desire to be united. Perhaps this is because, although they were created by different composers, their Source is one and infinitely powerful.

For me, each piece holds a special meaning, a great warmth that brings life and hope to both performer and listener. They speak of timeless matters of the heart — of being swept away by something exalted and transcendent, yet at the same time profoundly human. These works were born from inspiration granted to those whose hearts beat in harmony with the celestial, and with the inner strength of those who feel deeply and immerse themselves in a luminous, boundless energy capable of healing, transforming, and uniting with the beloved.

This is the essence that drew me in and led me to weave them together with an invisible thread, like a bouquet of rare flowers, so that they might resonate with all who listen to those sublime heights that Love is able to inspire. The sound of the piano has inspired both the composers themselves and those who, with care and devotion, created the transcriptions from organ, symphonic orchestra, and operatic voice that are included in this series.

For me, bringing these works together and learning to love them — note by note — has been a gift.
May this series be a gift for many — one that never fades.”
